  • Write and post original content a couple times a week.
  • Actively tries to connect people

Donnie shares his insights about the Hero’s Journey and how it relates to the Sales Person’s part in an organization. He mentions how a sales person is responsible for as many as 34 people in an organization. Donnie points out that there is a twist to this metaphor. The Sales person needs to be a hero to those that they need to become the hero in their organization.

Elyse asks Donnie how a sales person might be able to leverage a podcast to connect with their best prospects and client. He recommends starting with the “WHY.” Make this part of your strategy. Remember that social media is a great way to introduce yourself but it is not a good place to make marriage proposals (asking for the sale.) Make sure that your social media profiles represent how great of a sales person you are. You must invest in yourself.
